AIA Colorado South Eat and Educate: Designing with Surfaced Masonry Wall Systems

Join AIA Colorado South from noon – 1 p.m. on Wednesday, June 20, for Designing with Surfaced Masonry Wall Systems, an Eat and Educate presented by Tnemec Company, Inc. The program will be held at the Penrose Library Carnegie Reading Room (20 N. Cascade Ave., Colorado Springs, CO 80903).

Attendees can earn 1.0 AIA HSW continuing education hour (CEH). Under the state of Colorado's rules for continuing education for state licensure renewal, this program meets the requirements for 1.0 HSW CEH.

This seminar addresses the various types of surfaced masonry wall systems for interior CMU walls. Discussion will center around the advantages and disadvantages of these different types of surfaced masonry and why choosing a system that provides a smooth, pinhole free monolithic surface can provide added protection for areas subjected to abuse, harsh environments and sanitary standards.

This program is free for all AIA Colorado South members and lunch will be provided by Tnemec Company, Inc.
