AIA Colorado North (Ft. Collins) Eat and Educate: The Design and Performance Advantages of Composite

Join AIA Colorado North (Fort Collins) on Wednesday, June 27, from noon – 1 p.m., for The Design and Performance Advantages of Composite Shake, an Eat and Educate presented by Enviroshake Inc. The program will take place at the Home State Bank (303 E. Mountain Ave., Fort Collins, CO 80524).

Attendees can earn 1.0 AIA HSW sustainable design (SD) learning unit (LU). Under the state of Colorado's rules for continuing education for state licensure renewal, this program meets the requirements for 1.0 HSW CEH.

The presentation provides an overview of the characteristics and green features of composite roofing shakes versus traditional and other alternative shake options, as well as a discussion of the relationship of composite shakes to various green certification programs (i.e. LEED & NGBS).

This program is free for all AIA Denver members and lunch will be provided by Enviroshake Inc.
