Join AIA Denver on
Saturday, April 13, from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m., at the Wellington E. Webb Municipal Building in the main atrium (201 W. Colfax Ave., Denver, CO 80202), for our annual Box City for Kids event!
Box City is a unique children’s event that is open to the public and promotes an understanding of the design and construction industry. Children will learn first-hand how to request permits, order materials, and design and construct buildings into a cardboard city. This event is designed for children kindergarten - fifth grade (K-5), although older children are always welcome.

Help us Build Box City!
The annual Box City for Kids event is in need of volunteers, material donations and sponsors!
Volunteer shifts include set-up, break-down, and assisting the participants at various stations. Volunteers are needed on Saturday, April 13, from 8 a.m. – 3 p.m., at the Wellington E. Webb Municipal Building. Contact Jenna Cather at
jenna@aiacolorado.org to sign up for a shift.
Material donations, including cardboard boxes, scissors, glue, paper, etc., may be dropped off at the AIA Colorado office now through Thursday, April 11, at 4 p.m.
