is a new initiative that the AIA Denver Public Affairs Committee hopes will help AIA National’s efforts to "reposition” architects and AIA. The purpose of this initiative is to reach out to the community at large, raising awareness of architects as thought leaders and demystifying how we are making a better world through design of the built environment.
The starting line-up:
January 17: RNL
February 21: H+L Architecture
March 21: Anderson Mason Dale Architects
April 5*: AIA Residential Architects at Hangar 41
(*Event to coincide with First Friday on Art District on Santa Fe.)
Submit Your Project Boards / Models!
In January, AIA Denver launched a new program for the general public, Open Studio!
, which allows local architecture firms to open their doors and invite community members into their workspaces. These events celebrate the built environment and the design professionals who shape the world around us.
The purpose of this initiative is to reach out to the com¬munity at large, raising awareness of architects as thought leaders and demystifying how architects are making a better world through design of the built environment.
Recognizing that not all firms are large enough to support these events, AIA Denver’s Public Affairs Committee has secured space at local firm Hangar 41
on the Art District on Santa Fe Art. April’s Open Studio!
will take place on First Friday April 5
. AIA Denver small practitioners, firms employing five or fewer persons, are invited to submit ideas for 24”x36” or 36”x24” boards or small models to display at Hangar 41.
Submittals must be received no later than Friday, March 15, at noon,
