Local Government Network Committee
The Local Government Network Committee provides local government advocacy efforts on behalf of the chapter, with a focus on policy issues affecting the City of Colorado Springs and other AIA Colorado South municipalities.

Programs Committee
The Programs Committee organizes upcoming AIA Colorado South events and facilitates the planning and execution of the chapter’s major programs for the year (including the
annual gala,
Architecture Month events, and other programs scheduled). The committee meets to make suggestions related to the logistics of the major programs, including but not limited to venue, food and beverage, entertainment, etc. The committee also works to drum up attendance and sponsorship for the major programs, as needed, and suggests ways to best market the programs to the targeted audience. Urban Design Committee (UDC)
The Urban Design Committee (UDC) focuses on being a community resource of expertise to assist in reviewing the development of designs involving local and regional urban issues. The committee assists the chapter in taking positions on key issues affecting Colorado Springs, surrounding municipalities and its architects.
