Congrats, Award Winners!
Congratulations to the winners of the AIA Colorado North 2013 Design and Honor Awards! Each winner was recognized on Friday, Nov. 1, during a presentation at the Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art in Boulder, Colo.
The following three architectural design awards were selected from 24 entries submitted by members of AIA Colorado North. The awards were presented by Jury Chair Jeffrey L. Day, AIA, of Min | Day

||Honor Award for Residential: Large

In addition to the design awards, seven honor awards were presented by the AIA Colorado North Board of Directors’ Executive Committee.
|Firm of the Year
HMH Architecture + Interiors (Boulder, Colo.)
Recognizes an AIA-member firm that has contributed to the profession and has set an example in design, service and leadership to AIA Colorado North.
|Twenty-Five Year Award
Architectural Office of Roger Easton, AIA (Boulder, Colo.)
Recognizes a project completed in the AIA Colorado North area at least 25 years ago that has withstood the "test of time” and still functions in its original capacity.
Architect of the Year
Ken Field, AIA | RB+B Architects, Inc.
This award recognizes a licensed architect who has contributed to the profession and set an example in design, service and leadership to AIA Colorado North.
Associate of the Year
Meghan Molin, Assoc. AIA | Aller • Lingle • Massey Architects P.C.
Recognizes an unlicensed architectural intern who is an associate member of AIA Colorado North, whose contributions to the profession of architecture in AIA Colorado North have been outstanding.
Mentor of the Year
Ken Andrews, AIA | Arch11, Inc.
Recognizes a firm or licensed architect member for exceptional efforts to promote the professional growth and development of an emerging design professional, or group of emerging professionals, who is/are in the process of acquiring a license.
Community Service by an Architect
Dave Lingle, AIA | Aller • Lingle • Massey Architects P.C.
Recognizes a licensed architect member of AIA Colorado North for exemplary contribution of service to the community.
Contribution to the Built Environment by a Non-Architect
Bruce Hendee | City of Fort Collins
Recognizes outstanding accomplishments by a non-architect in the AIA Colorado North region who has demonstrated exemplary achievements in contributing to the quality of the built environment.
