Eat and Educate Continuing Education Program

Eat and Educates are a benefit for members only and provide attendees with the opportunity to earn 1.0 Health, Safety and Welfare (HSW) AIA continuing education learning unit (LU). Under the state of Colorado’s rules for continuing education for state licensure renewal, these programs meet the requirements for 1.0 HSW continuing education hour (CEH).

Important Changes to Continuing Education in the State of Colorado and AIA HSW Requirements

Policy Regarding Non-member Attendance at AIA Colorado Eat and Educates

Based on feedback from a recently conducted statewide member needs survey, the decision has been made to feature the local chapter monthly Eat and Educate programs as a benefit for AIA members only (including Professional Affiliate members) starting Jan. 1, 2011.

The change was precipitated by a need to provide further value specifically to AIA Colorado members and will give individuals the opportunity to meet recent state license requirements at no additional cost above the annual dues.

Please note that non-members will continue to be able to participate in AIA Colorado and local chapter continuing education programs that carry a fee for members.
