May 22: DBIA Rocky Mountain Region 2012 Regional Conference
Join the Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA) Rocky Mountain Region on
Tuesday, May 22, at 7 a.m., at the Hyatt Regency Downtown Denver (
650 15th St., Denver, CO 80202) for the DBIA RMR 2012 Regional Conference "Design Build – Full Speed Ahead”. This year's Conference combines the Region's Water/Wastewater, Vertical/Transportation and Owners' Conferences into a single, daylong event. Keynote speaker, former Colorado Governor Bill Owens, opens the Conference, followed by an education session led by DBIA expert, Barbara Jackson, Ph.D., DBIA.
Five education tracks filled with dynamic speakers and presentations allow attendees to customize their afternoon. The day concludes with a Practioner/Owner Reception in the Exhibit Hall. The Exhibit Hall is available for attendees throughout the Conference.

Colorado-licensed architects, engineers, principals, peer reviewers, and risk managers are asked to attend as this will better help you understand the legal and insurance implications and professional responsibility when involved in reviews. Some of the covered topics include DORA reporting, immunity protections for violation reporting, DORA’s legal process, civil litigation reporting, and more. The cost to attend is $139; breakfast is included.
